About Our Premium Maca Powder
Harvested in August 2013, our Premium Maca powder is amazingly fresh and potent. Instead of being sundried after harvest, the fresh roots immediately cleaned in a citrus solution, ground into a pulp and low temp dried (below 110F) to produce a powder with higher levels of many nutrients including glucosinolates. Our premium Maca has 1.4% glucosinolate content, which makes it more effective in overall hormone balance.
Premium Maca contains a combination of about 40% Cream, 30% Red and 30% Black Maca roots. This provides a broad based range of benefits and makes Premium Maca an excellent all-purpose Maca for both Men and Women.
